CHOICE Healthcare Services in Fresno, CA is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. You will pass instruments, perform procedures in line with the Dental Practice Act, and assist the doctor in procedures.

The role offers hands-on x-ray work, patient education on oral hygiene, charting with the doctor, and instrument sterilization, with a pay range of $19.71-$26.44 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant License and X-Ray Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in procedures
• Operate x-ray equipment and take x-rays
• Prophy teeth; instruct patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilize instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IOs; Charting

Registered Dental Assistant

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $19.71-$26.44 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• BiLingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
