Choice-Healthcare-Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Vallejo, CA. The role supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and assisting during procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Registered Dental Assistant

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $21.83-$29.23/hr (based on experience)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification
