Marketplace Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics in Fresno, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to assist the dentist in delivering outstanding patient care. You will support the team by taking intra-oral photos, conducting radiographs, and educating patients while maintaining a clean, compliant practice environment.

The role emphasizes efficient chair-side support, adherence to safety regulations, and delivering the best possible treatment with urgency, under ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with mandated state certification/licensure
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the applicable state
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile, cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines

Education
