Job summary

Stockdale Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist with patient care, chair-side assistance, and radiographs to help deliver the best possible treatment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with state certification/licensure for dental assistants and related training. Medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-required certification/licensure.
• Dental assisting certification/education as mandated by state.
• Experience in dental assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment.
• Maintain sterile environment and assist with x-rays and imaging.
• Prepare patients for treatment and aid the doctors during procedures.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
