Responsibilities include taking radiographs and intra-oral images, maintaining sterile operatories, educating patients, and assisting with diagnoses as directed by the dentist.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with state-required certifications.
• State certification/licensure as required by the state.
• Associate degree or certificate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure ADA/OSHA compliance.
• Follow state and federal regulations (HIPAA, etc.).
