Qualifications

• Requires state-m mandated training/certifications for RDA.
• Formal education in dental assisting is preferred.
• Experience with dental imaging and patient education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for optimal treatment.
• Contribute to the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming treatment environment.
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, OSHA, HIPAA and related policies.
