Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, including cardiac stress testing. The role requires BLS, RDCS or RCS credentials, and at least one year of related experience.

EPIC EHR and PACS proficiency is preferred. The position involves on-call responsibilities, patient preparation, and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in applied health science with cardiovascular focus preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Credentialed echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography exams using ultrasound equipment.
• Conduct both non-invasive and invasive cardiac assessments.
• Prepare and monitor patients before during procedures.
• Document findings in the EMR and communicate critical results.
