Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered to perform diagnostic, non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams using ultrasound equipment. The role includes Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, as well as Cardiac Stress testing, with on-call hours required.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in a related field, BLS, and RDCS or RCS credentials, plus preferred experience with EPIC EHR and PACS.

Formación

• Associates degree in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related field preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RDCS or RCS credential from ARDMS/CCI required or credentialed at time of hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrate ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation of results.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Use the EHR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required.
