Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at The Jewish Hospital to perform diagnostic, non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams using ultrasound equipment. The role covers TTE, TEE, and cardiac stress testing, with on-call hours required.

Education includes an associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field; licensure requires BLS and RDCS or RCS credentials. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred, with at least one year of experience in cardiac sonography.

Formación

• Associates degree in an applied health science field with concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Credentialed in echocardiography: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI).
• Minimum of one year of Cardiac Sonographer experience preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart during TTE, TEE, and stress testing.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Maintains knowledge of cardiac anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation of results.
• Prepares and monitors patients before and during procedures.
• Uses the EMR to review patient information and document critical findings.
• On-call hours required.
