Job summary

The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, part of Mercy Health, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic, non-invasive and invasive cardiac studies using ultrasound equipment. You will operate Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Cardiac Stress testing while ensuring patient care and accurate documentation.

Required credentials include BLS and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS, with an associate degree in a cardiovascular technology field. On-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in an applied health science field with a concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study (preferred).
• BLS certification required at minimum, ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS credentials preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrates ability to proficiently perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Utilizes EMR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required.
