Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Springfield, OH is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered to perform diagnostic echocardiography using ultrasound, including transthoracic, transesophageal and stress testing, at Springfield Regional Medical Center.

The role requires an associate degree in cardiovascular technology, BLS, and credentialing RDCS or RCS, with on-call hours and preferred EPIC EHR and PACS experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a health science field with a cardiovascular focus is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• RDCS or RCS credentialing is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (preferred).
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepares and monitors patients before and during procedures.
• Uses the EMR to review patient information and document findings.
• On call hours required.
