Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is seeking dedicated RBTs to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children and young adults with autism, in home or community settings. You will implement individualized treatment plans and work under the supervision of a BCBA.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check
• Reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to clients' homes
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, teacher assistant, paraprofessional, special education teacher, early childhood educator, daycare teacher, psychology degree

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around pediatric patients and families as indicated.
• Enter data and trials daily for each pediatric patient across programs.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences and team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
