Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy with children diagnosed with ASD in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement individualized behavior plans under supervision.

You’ll collect real-time data, collaborate with BCBAs and families, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment. A HS diploma and RBT certification are required; drivers license preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Education: HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus
• Experience: Experience with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Passion for helping children and families to achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
