Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with autism and developmental differences in clients' homes and community settings. You will implement BCBA-created plans, track progress, and help build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

This role requires at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or prior experience in related fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in psychology or related fields is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a child-focused role or as a Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist/Paraprofessional is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to clients in home and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Record session data and track client progress.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Travel between client locations may be required; mileage reimbursement available when eligible.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

• Camp Counselor

• Similar child-focused role

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings

• Travel between client locations may be required

• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible

• Paid training and ongoing support provided
