Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, delivering evidence-based behavioral support under BCBA supervision. You will implement treatment plans, help clients improve communication, social, and daily living skills, and monitor progress.

Compensation is hourly, with weekly paychecks, and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field, OR at least one year of relevant experience (e.g., Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, child development role).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old

  • ABA Therapist
  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Paraprofessional

  • Camp Counselor
  • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
