Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings. You’ll work one-on-one and follow plans created by BCBAs to build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

As part of our team, you’ll receive ongoing BCBA support, paid training, and opportunities for professional growth. Travel between client locations is common, with mileage reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in psychology/education/social work/behavioral science or related field; or at least one year of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old

• At least one year of experience as a:
• Behavior Technician
• ABA Therapist
• Behavioral Interventionist
• Paraprofessional
• Child Development Professional
• Camp Counselor
• Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
