Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Roseville, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings under BCBA supervision.

You will implement treatment plans, help clients build communication and adaptive skills, record progress, and participate in ongoing training. Travel between client locations may be required; mileage reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field

Hourly Pay: $24 - $28hr
