Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavior Technician to work with children and adults in home and community settings. You will receive guidance from BCBA professionals and provide individualized behavioral support to build communication and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, recording progress, and creating structured learning environments. Travel between client locations may be required; mileage reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, or related role.

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support in home/community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.

Required:

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
