Job summary

Compass is seeking a Workplace Operations & Facilities Manager to lead regional facilities efforts and ensure offices are great places to work. You will oversee services, amenities, maintenance, and asset management across a portfolio, managing third-party providers and base building relationships as the lease representative.

The role requires 3–5 years in facilities, vendor and project management, and knowledge of lease language, MEP systems, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facilities or Workplace Operations management.
• 3+ years managing suppliers and vendor contracts.
• 3+ years of project management.
• Experience with lease operations language and execution.
• Knowledge of commercial MEP systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire and life safety, and electrical distribution.
• Excellent communication, organization and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for regional teams and vendors within a portfolio.
• Develop a robust network of vendors across trades and manage service contracts.
• Oversee post-lease and construction for new expansion offices, including leases, equipment and service contracts.
• Act as escalation point for large facility maintenance emergencies.
• Assist in development and maintenance of the Workplace/Facilities budget.
• Oversee property insurance claims and related work.
• Manage approved project/CapEx budget tied to workplace operations and vendor payments.
• Provide prompt responses to tenant requests to ensure top in-office experience.
• Improve processes, documentation, and system tools for building safety and security.
