Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to join our team. You will partner with regional operations to execute WHS policies and ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations.

Lead a team to implement safety standards and drive continuous improvement to reduce ergonomic risk across sites. You will communicate clearly, train leaders and site professionals in EHS policies, and influence safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years in safety/environmental programs.
• 7+ years in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles in an operational setting.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and relocate within the region if needed.
• Willingness to work varied shifts to support site needs.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Measure site performance and fix identified deficiencies.
• Ensure WHS data integrity and reporting for initiatives.
• Lead safety projects and analyze incident trends for resource allocation.
• Mentor FC WHS Manager and WHS Associates.
• Spend time at fulfillment centers to gather improvement input.
• Lead tissue injury reduction efforts via Kaizens with Operations.
• Ensure training quality and trainer qualifications and effectiveness.
