Job summary

Veolia invites applications for a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover multiple wastewater facilities, primarily to cover vacations and absences, and to help train local teams. The role also supports new account start-ups with hands-on operations and training material development.

This position requires significant travel, often for 1–2 weeks or longer, and may involve day and night shifts. Safety, compliance, and continuous improvement are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and training delivery abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities in designated region during vacations/absences.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training visits and electronic training materials for technicians.
• Ensure industry standards, lab testing procedures, and preventive maintenance practices are followed.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team and training of new technicians.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to local technicians and guide proactive decision-making.
