Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations at multiple water and wastewater facilities within a designated region. The role includes developing training materials, mentoring technicians, and ensuring compliant operations and maintenance practices.

Extensive travel is required, potentially 1–2 weeks at a time, up to a month in extenuating circumstances. The position emphasizes safety, data analysis, and collaboration with Veolia management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and absences, including day and night shifts.
• Develop training resources and conduct hands-on training visits for technicians.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, lab procedures, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Support new account start-ups and collaborate with the SWOT team on tasks and goals.
• Troubleshoot process issues, analyze data, and implement improvements to ensure compliance.
