Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple water/wastewater facilities in the region. You will assist in training local teams, support new account startups, and handle process optimization and compliance tasks.

The role requires significant travel (1–2 weeks or up to a month). Must oversee lab sampling, record keeping, and safety programs while maintaining daily shift coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia facilities in your designated region as vacations and unplanned absences arise.
• Provide in-person training visits and develop electronic training materials and resources, and direct training efforts of individual technicians.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used at Veolia operated facilities in your designated region.
• Support new account start-up projects and train newly hired technicians.
• Provide knowledgeable support to local technicians to troubleshoot process issues and drive proactive decisions.
• Operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow into the wastewater treatment plant.
