Job summary

Veolia seeks a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple facilities in the region. You will assist in training local technicians, develop resources, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires extensive travel and flexible scheduling to support start-ups and ongoing operations. You will monitor processes, collect samples, and help maintain equipment while coordinating with Veolia management and other operators to sustain treatment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Train and develop local technicians; create training materials and SOPs.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices across facilities.
• Provide support for new account start-ups and troubleshooting with SWOT team.
