Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician in Indianapolis to cover vacations and absences, train local teams, and support start-ups. The role involves operating facilities, troubleshooting, maintenance, and extensive travel, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will develop training resources, monitor lab data, and coordinate with regional teams to ensure reliable plant performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel frequently and support 12-hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage across Veolia facilities during vacations and absences.
• Train and develop local technicians; create and update training materials.
• Operate wastewater plant equipment and test samples; collect lab data and ensure compliance.
