Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking an Operations Technician to cover client wastewater facilities across the region, helping with vacations and absences while training local teams and supporting new account start-ups.

You will oversee process changes, troubleshooting, sampling, lab testing, and daily reporting. Extensive travel (1–4 weeks) across multiple sites is required to ensure compliant, efficient wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities in the region during vacations and absences.
• Develop and deliver training for local technicians and onboarding of new hires.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used across facilities.
• Support new account start-ups with task development and training.
• Troubleshoot process issues and perform lab testing and data recording.
• Coordinate with maintenance and management to optimize operations.
