Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to support multiple facilities across a designated region in the United States. The role covers vacations and absences, trains local staff, and assists in start-ups of new accounts. Travel is a significant component, with extended periods away from home as needed.

You will operate equipment, collect samples, ensure compliance, and help optimize processes across sites in your region. A strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Operational experience in wastewater treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and absences.
• Develop and train local technicians, including creating training materials.
• Troubleshoot process issues and ensure compliance with standards.
• Operate pumps, valves, and motors to control wastewater flows.
• Collect and analyze wastewater samples and maintain records.
