Job summary

Veolia Group seeks a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple water and wastewater facilities. The role includes training development, site visits, and hands-on operation and maintenance support in the region.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and 3+ years in wastewater operations, with excellent communication skills and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Willingness to learn and follow wastewater processes.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Train local technicians through site visits and training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used at Veolia facilities.
• Support new account start-ups and training of technicians.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Operate pumps, valves, and motors to regulate flow.
