Job summary

Veolia's Water Technology Business seeks a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple water and wastewater facilities in the region. This full-time role includes training local operations teams, supporting new account startups, and maintaining compliant, safe plant operations.

The position requires significant travel (1–2 weeks, up to a month), strong mechanical aptitude, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations/absences.
• Develop regional training resources and site-specific training for technicians.
• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and perform sampling.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance across facilities.
• Provide supervision and training to local technicians in the region.
