Job summary

Veolia seeks a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at municipal water and wastewater facilities in the region. The role trains local teams, develops training materials, and supports new account startups while ensuring compliant operations and data record-keeping.

The position requires significant travel, day and night shifts, and hands-on oversight of pumping, sampling, and plant performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment or related field.
• Willingness to travel extensively to multiple sites.
• Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage for Veolia facilities during vacations and absences.
• Train local technicians and develop electronic training materials.
• Ensure best practices, lab procedures, and preventive maintenance are followed.
• Support start-up projects with the SWOT team and new technicians.
• Analyze lab data and implement process improvements.
