Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple water and wastewater facilities. The role focuses on operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and developing training materials for technicians in the region.

This position requires significant travel, often 1–2 weeks at a time, and may extend to a month for certain assignments. You will work with the SWOT team on new account start-ups and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions on wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience in a traveling work role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities in your region during vacations and absences.
• Develop and train local technicians, including hands-on visits and creating training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices in record keeping, lab testing, and maintenance.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team and training of technicians.
• Provide troubleshooting support to local technicians and coordinate with management on operations.
