Prisms VR, a San Francisco-based team transforming K12 STEM education through immersive VR, seeks a Regional Teacher Coach to lead professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration across your region.

You will upskill educators in best-practice pedagogy to drive transformative learning outcomes using cutting-edge immersive technology, while collaborating with school and district teams to expand access to STEM innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or a Master’s degree in STEM education preferred.
2-5 years of Grades 6-12 teaching experience preferred.
2-3 years of demonstrated success developing curriculum (including course structural planning) preferred.
Knowledge of multiple learning frameworks with focus on problem-based learning and student-driven mathematical discourse.
Deep knowledge of national math standards and their relationship to state standards preferred.
Clear and energetic communicator capable of delivering thoughtful, engaging presentations to diverse groups.

Responsabilités

Lead professional development sessions and coach educators in best-practice pedagogy for VR-based learning.
Conduct in-classroom coaching sessions, including side-by-side co-teaching and real-time feedback.
Lead rigorous lesson study sessions to support knowledge-building in VR module design and facilitation.
Drive curriculum integration conversations at classroom, school, and district levels to maximize use of Prisms within core curriculum.
Contribute to ongoing creation and refinement of supporting curriculum and professional development materials.
Onboard new-to-Prisms teachers and provide ongoing development for experienced teachers.
