Job summary

Prisms VR in San Francisco seeks a Regional Teacher Coach to lead professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration across your region.

You will upskill educators in best-practice pedagogy using immersive VR technology, partnering with the Head of Teacher Community & Professional Learning to drive transformative learning outcomes.

Travel within California is required, with up to 80% in schools and classrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a Master's in STEM education preferred.
• 2-5 years of Grades 6-12 teaching experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of curriculum development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of learning frameworks with a focus on problem-based learning.
• Deep knowledge of national math standards and state standards preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Model exemplary lessons to showcase tech integration and math discourse.
• Facilitate in-classroom coaching and real-time feedback.
• Lead lesson study to support VR module design and facilitation.
• Lead curriculum integration conversations at classroom, school, district.
• Contribute to curriculum and professional development materials.
• Onboard and develop Prisms teachers.
• Assess coaching needs across regions and plan next steps.
• Foster community among Prisms teachers and leaders.
