Job summary

Prisms VR is seeking a Regional Teacher Coach to lead professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration across regions. You will rapidly upskill educators in best-practice pedagogy using immersive technology.

The role involves modeling lessons, delivering side-by-side coaching, and guiding district-level curriculum discussions to maximize student learning outcomes. Candidates should have STEM degrees and strong communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM, or Master’s in STEM education preferred.
2–5 years teaching experience in Grades 6–12 preferred.
2–3 years of curriculum development experience preferred.
Knowledge of problem-based learning and student-driven discourse.
Strong communication to diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of national and state math standards.
Energetic, clear presenter and team player.

Responsibilities

Model exemplary lessons to showcase technology integration and mathematical discourse.
Facilitate in-classroom coaching sessions with side-by-side co-teaching and feedback.
Lead lesson study to support VR module design and facilitation.
Drive curriculum integration discussions at classroom, school, and district levels.
Contribute to ongoing creation and refinement of curriculum and PD materials.
Onboard new-to-Prisms teachers and provide ongoing development.
Assess coaching needs across regions and plan next steps.
Foster community among Prisms teachers and leaders in your region.
