Job summary

Prisms VR in San Francisco seeks a Regional Teacher Coach to lead professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration for your region, rapidly upskilling educators in best-practice pedagogy and immersive technology.

You will collaborate with schools, travel up to 80% locally and domestically, model exemplary lessons, support district-level alignment, and help create resources to scale STEM learning nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Grades 6-12 (2–5 years)
• 2–3 years developing curriculum and course structure
• Knowledge of multiple learning frameworks with focus on problem-based learning and student-driven discourse

Responsibilities

• Model exemplary lessons to showcase technology integration, pedagogy, and connection between experiential learning and math fluency
• Facilitate in-classroom coaching sessions to upskill teacher confidence and practice with real-time feedback
• Lead lesson study sessions to support knowledge-building of VR module design and facilitation
• Lead curriculum integration conversations at classroom, school, and district levels to maximize Prisms usage
• Contribute to creation and refinement of curriculum and professional development materials
• Support and lead professional development sessions to onboard new Prisms teachers
• Assess coaching needs regionally and plan next steps accordingly
• Create and foster community among Prisms teachers and leaders in the region
