Prisms VR, a San Francisco-based team transforming K-12 STEM education through immersive VR, seeks a Regional Teacher Coach. You will work under the Head of Teacher Community & Professional Learning to oversee professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration for your region, uplifting educators with best-practice pedagogy using immersive technology.

Responsibilities include modeling lessons, coaching, lesson study, district-level curriculum discussions, and authoring

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Master’s in STEM education.
• 2–5 years of Grades 6–12 teaching experience.
• 2–3 years of curriculum development experience.
• Knowledge of problem-based learning and student-driven mathematical discourse.
• Familiarity with national math standards and state standards alignment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Model exemplary lessons showing technology integration and math discourse.
• Facilitate in-classroom coaching and real-time feedback.
• Lead lesson study to improve VR module design and facilitation.
• Lead curriculum integration conversations at class/school/district level.
• Contribute to curriculum and professional development materials.
• Lead PD sessions to onboard new-to Prisms teachers and provide development to experienced staff.
• Assess coaching needs regionally and plan next steps.
• Foster community among Prisms teachers and leaders in the region.
