Job Description

Firm: Large global portfolio management firm with over 200 billion in assets under management. Each client has a separately managed portfolio based on their risk tolerance, asset allocation, and securities preferences. The firm offers a fee-based platform that provides global portfolio management solutions.

Role: In this home-based outside sales role, you will focus on closing leads of high-net-worth clients who have already expressed interest in investing with this firm and have over $500k or more to invest. There is no cold calling or prospecting; you will focus solely on closing client leads provided by the firm.

A dedicated portfolio management and service team handles the transition and retention of client relationships.

The firm markets its services via direct mail, internet, television advertising, and other mediums. They receive pre-qualified responses from interested investors willing to discuss transferring their investment portfolios.

Home Office: The firm covers all home office expenses including computer, phone, scanner, printer, etc. Travel expenses are also covered, and an expense account is provided.

Compensation: $100,000 base salary to start + uncapped commission, with an average total compensation of $300,000 to $500,000. Top producers earn over $1 million.

Note: Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission. The salary starts at $100,000 and gradually declines to $0, at which point commissions increase substantially, as you will receive commissions on any new sales for several years.
