Firm: Large global portfolio management firm with over 200 billion in assets under management. Each client has a separately managed portfolio based on their risk tolerance, asset allocation, and securities preferences. The firm offers a fee-based platform with global portfolio management solutions.
Role: In this home-based outside sales role, you will focus on closing leads of high-net-worth clients who have already expressed interest in investing with the firm and have over $500k or more to invest. There is no cold calling or prospecting; your focus will be on closing client leads provided by the firm.
A dedicated portfolio management and service team handles the transition and retention of client relationships.
The firm actively markets its services via direct mail, internet, television advertising, and other mediums. They receive pre-qualified responses from interested investors willing to discuss transferring their investment portfolios.
Home Office: The firm covers all home office expenses including computer, phone, scanner, printer, etc., as well as travel expenses and provides an expense account.
Compensation: Starting with a $100,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, with average total compensation ranging from $300,000 to $500,000, and top producers earning over $1 million.
Note: Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission. The salary starts at $100,000 and gradually declines to $0, at which point commissions increase substantially, as you will receive commissions on new sales for several years.

Requirements: 7+ years of experience as an Investment Advisor, External Wholesaler, or similar role, with a strong track record of success in sales and bringing in new investment assets to the firm.
