Job summary

WesTech is seeking a self-motivated Water/Wastewater Operations Technician to support multiple sites across the region. This role requires approximately 90% travel to assist plant operations, startups, troubleshooting, and coverage across sites.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in varied plant environments. 12-hour shifts and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of related operations, maintenance, or production experience.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Ability to work independently at remote sites with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (2/2/3 or 7-on/7-off).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support plant operations across multiple sites.
• Test and monitor water treatment processes; adjust parameters as needed.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections; calibrate systems.
