Job summary

WesTech is seeking a Traveling Water/Wastewater Operations Technician to support plant operations across the region with approximately 90% travel. The role requires independence at remote sites, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently at multiple plant locations.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time and work 12-hour shifts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct water sample testing to monitor plant performance and optimize operations.
• Adjust treatment processes (TSS, pH, turbidity, chemical feed rates) to meet system requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs and operational records.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
