Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at client facilities in the region. The role includes operating plants, troubleshooting, sampling, and maintaining records, with travel typically 1–2 weeks and sometimes up to a month.

You will train local teams, develop resources, and support new start-ups in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in wastewater operations, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work flexible shifts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop local technicians.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage across facilities during vacations and absences.
• Develop training resources and conduct hands-on visits to sites.
• Ensure compliance with lab testing and maintenance procedures.
• Support new account start-ups with operational tasks and training.
• Collaborate with Veolia management to optimize plant performance.
