Job summary

JES Holdings' Fairway Management unit is seeking Roaming Maintenance Techs to support multiple apartment communities. The role involves routine maintenance, rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs across a regional area.

Travel is required; candidates must meet OSHA/EPA compliance, manage make-ready tasks, and ensure curb appeal. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely response to resident needs, with after-hours on-call and training opportunities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation.
Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.
Preferred: HVAC EPA 608 Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with local, state, and investor regulations and policies.
Must be willing to do daily travel within region.
Prepare for state agency, and investor inspections and ensure OSHA and EPA property compliance.
Prioritize work orders for assigned properties.
Ensure properties maintain exceptional curb appeal.
Be available for on call after hours.
Lead make ready process with unit turns, including painting and cleaning.
Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
Lift up to 55 lbs; work in attics/crawl spaces and outdoors in all weather.
Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks and pickup supplies as needed.
Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent; travel to trainings.
