Job summary
JES Holdings, a leader in affordable housing management through Fairway Management (FWM), seeks Roaming Maintenance Technicians to support regional properties. You will perform routine maintenance, rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs while traveling within a defined region.
The role requires 5 years of multifamily or similar maintenance experience, HVAC EPA Type II certification, and strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
- HVAC EPA Type II Certification required.
- 1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
- Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and investor regulations.
- Willingness to travel daily within the region.
- Prepare for state agency and investor inspections; ensure OSHA/EPA property compliance.
- Prioritize and process work orders for assigned properties.
- Maintain exceptional curb appeal of properties, buildings, and common areas.
- Be available for on-call after hours.
