Job summary

JES Holdings, through Fairway Management, seeks a Roaming Maintenance Tech to support the North Central Region. The role requires daily regional travel, performing routine maintenance, rough carpentry, painting, and making-ready unit turns to uphold curb appeal across properties.

The candidate will prepare for state and investor inspections, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and travel for regional trainings and conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
• 1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region for daily duties.
• Perform routine maintenance including rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs.
• Lead make-ready processes with unit turns and cleaning.
• Prepare for state and investor inspections ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance.
• Maintain curb appeal of properties and common areas.
• Be available for on-call after hours and travel to trainings.
