Ameris Bank seeks a Retail Travel Manager to provide operational and organizational support to regional branches and the Regional Area Director. You will lead the regional travel team, oversee branch operations and drive sales/service objectives while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, onboarding, presenting sales strategies, and collaborating with leadership to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of branch operations.
• Knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
• Intermediate PC proficiency.
• Presentation and training skills.
• Ability to analyze data and summarize results.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy, assess and monitor performance, motivate and manage team to meet and exceed service and sales goals objectives.
• Lead, recruit, train, coach, schedule, motivate, and evaluate the work of the travel team.
• Oversee the customer experience for branches within region by assessing customer and employee feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, and researching and resolving complex problems to ensure customer service excellence.
• Approve policy exceptions within authorized limits.
• Responsible for achievement of branch objectives, sales and service objectives as set by leadership.
• May perform all sales and service functions of the branch as needed, including meeting or exceeding established targets.
