Job summary

Union Pacific Corporation in Rison, AR is seeking a Track Laborer - Regional to maintain and repair railroad tracks across a designated territory. The role supports safe and efficient train movement and service to customers across North America.

The job requires CDL upon hire and adherence to FMCSA medical qualifications. The position is full-time at $33.35 per hour with a strong emphasis on safety, hands-on track work, and teamwork in diverse weather and rural settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess valid CDL (Class A or B).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety bulletins and regulations.
• Must complete English assessment prior to interview.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, guidelines, and FRA requirements.
• Transport track materials and operate load/unload devices.
• Perform track maintenance, repairs, installations, and component removal as needed.
• Maintain trackbed by removing ballast, tamping, and assisting ballast unloading.
• Operate equipment safely to drive spikes, tighten/loosen track bolts, and use pullers for spike removal.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
