Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. You will conduct weekly sales calls, prepare reports, and analyze top accounts to increase market share and sales while maintaining product margins.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 4 years of selling experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes is preferred; a valid driving record and reliable transportation are required.

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• 4 years prior selling experience.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email.
• Ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment.
• Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct weekly sales calls with existing customers and cold calls to potential customers (average 4-5 per week).
• Prepare weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develop monthly strategy for sales calls and monthly travel calendar.
• Conduct area market analysis of top accounts including dealers, contractors and builders.
• Research area market product data to determine types, styles and sizes most purchased so as to tailor sales strategy.
• Grow market share by increasing sales and maintaining product margins.
• Complete Positive Action Forms for all cold calls resulting in displays or sales.
• Place and display products in customer showrooms through negotiation and influence.
• Conduct client follow-ups via phone, letters, and emails.
• Maintain client files and timely follow-up on programs and projects.
• Provide PK seminars to customers.
• Utilize On Demand reporting to achieve sales objectives.
• Perform other duties as required.
