Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with safety programs.
• Monitor hours of service for drivers and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load.
• Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel.
• Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet forecast.
• Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships.
• Ensure maximum asset utilization.
