Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Transportation Operations professional to streamline freight planning and coordination in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on reducing shipping times, expediting routes, and maximizing loads across all cargo types.

You will partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to create daily operating plans, optimize payloads, and ensure on-time deliveries while managing up to 75 drivers and coordinating maintenance with Terminal Managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and logistics software.
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure with independent judgment.
• Ability to work well in teams with staff and contractors from all departments.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan shipping operations.
• Develop daily operating plan focused on KPI achievement.
• Evaluate and adjust plans for payload, on-time deliveries, and loaded mile percentage.
• Collaborate daily with Scheduling Team Leader on growth opportunities for KAG assets.
• Assess and adjust plans to maximize growth, efficiency and safety.
• Solicit freight opportunities from new and existing customers.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere to meet company demands.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments.
• Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers.
• Coordinate maintenance with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
