Job summary

Select Medical seeks a Regional Technology Operations Specialist II to provide company-wide technical services, including endpoint, printing, and mobile device support across hospitals in the Detroit region. You will troubleshoot and maintain Windows, iOS, printers, and networking hardware, and work with corporate IS teams on major deployments.

The role requires 5+ years in Information Systems, regional travel, and after-hours availability to ensure patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 1:1 ratio: one year college = one year work experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on end-user support for endpoint devices, operating systems and network infrastructure devices.
• Regular regional travel is required and availability beyond standard hours for mission-critical issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Solution Center referred trouble tickets; provide end-user support for network software, OS, hardware and peripherals.
• Escalate all out-of-scope issues to appropriate IS departments or vendors.
• Install, troubleshoot and diagnose software/hardware issues with Windows desktops, iOS devices, printers and networking equipment.
• Monitor and report on security violations related to unauthorized data access.
• Coordinate with corporate IS teams and vendors for desktop hardware, mobile devices, and network projects.
• Support endpoint deployment for hospital moves, openings, acquisitions, and upgrades.
